Your launch Reels got 127,000 views. Your latest Reels are getting about 300.

We spent time on your Instagram page, measured how your Reels perform since the grand opening, and read what people said about you. This file shows what's working, where the launch buzz is leaking away, and how to turn first-time visitors into regulars before December.

84.4Kviews on the grand opening invite with @miss_hotspots
9,285views on your "doors are open" Reel
~310views on each of your last three food Reels

What's already working

A beautiful space, a clear offer and a launch people noticed.

People love the space

"Love the space." "Love the aesthetics." "It's huge." "Thank God it's close to us." Under your launch Reels, the room itself was the star.

A strong launch

Partnering with @miss_hotspots and @wakaabout_portharcourt brought in over 118,000 views around opening day.

Two clear price points

Quick service from ₦3,500 and à la carte from ₦10,000. Few restaurants make the choice this easy.

Consistent, polished posting

Clear captions, with your address and phone number on nearly every post. The basics are already in place.

Where the buzz is leaking away

Three leaks we found on your page

Leak 1

The launch reach didn't carry into week two.

Your opening invite reached 84,400 views and your "doors are open" Reel reached 9,285. In the week since, your three latest food Reels reached 278, 326 and 327. That's about 5% of your own followers. The people who saw the launch haven't been given a reason to keep watching.

The fixKeep the launch energy going with a weekly rhythm people can follow: first-timer reactions, guest spotlights and "what's new this week". A new restaurant has about 90 days to become someone's regular spot.

Leak 2

People-and-vibe posts beat plate close-ups by 4 to 13 times.

Your "Happy Sunday" Reel showing the room, the tables and the atmosphere reached 3,628 views. Your "favourite customer" Reel reached 1,180. Your latest close-ups of food, beautifully shot, reached around 300 each. Port Harcourt has lots of good food. What people shared about you was the experience of being there.

The fixPut people in the frame. Show guests arriving, reacting, celebrating and coming back. Let the food be part of the story rather than the whole story.
Leak 3

Your bio link promises reservations the website doesn't offer.

Your bio says "Explore Our Menu & Reserve", but when we checked the website, it had no way to reserve. The Port Harcourt branch page had no phone number or opening hours, and the homepage showed 08012345678, which looks like a placeholder number. A guest who taps through ready to book hits a dead end.

The fixAdd a one-tap WhatsApp reservation button and your real number to the website and branch page, or point the bio link straight to WhatsApp until the site is ready. Every tap from Instagram should end in a booked table.

What this is really about

A new restaurant has about 90 days to become someone's regular.

90
Your launch introduced you to Port Harcourt. The next three months decide whether those first visits turn into Sunday lunches, team dinners and December parties booked with you.

On the house

Three videos you could film this week

You already have the space, the menu and guests coming in every day. Each of these builds on what has already worked for you.

First-timer POV

"POV: it's your first time at FoodBank."

  1. Walk in from the gate through the space to the table.
  2. Capture a real guest's first reaction, with consent.
  3. End on: "Where are you taking your first date here?"

Your space is what people commented on most. Let new guests see it through fresh eyes.

Price comparison

"₦3,500 vs ₦10,000 at FoodBank. Here's what you get."

  1. Quick-service plate on one side, à la carte on the other.
  2. Show both served, then eaten.
  3. End on: "Which one are you choosing?"

You already have two clear price points. It's a ready-made hook that answers "how much?" before anyone asks.

Regulars series

"We asked our regulars one question: what do you always order?"

  1. Three guests, one question, ten seconds each.
  2. Cut to the dish they name.
  3. End on: "What would yours be?"

Your "favourite customer" Reel reached 4 times more people than your latest food close-ups.

Our recommendation

Our Content Creation Package: a content bank for FoodBank

You don't need more food photos. You already post consistently. You need content built around what made your launch work: the space, the people and the experience. We plan, script and film a batch of content in one session at FoodBank, so your team keeps posting with far stronger videos.

  • Content direction built around guests, the space, occasions and your two price points
  • Scripting for every video, written to turn viewers into bookings
  • 15 short-form videos and 5 designs from one filming session
  • 20 content pieces ready to post, so your calendar is full through December
  • Room to grow into full management when you want the page off your plate entirely
